User Research Revelations

Importance of filters & search functions
Staying up to date with new releases
Focus should be majorly on the games themselves
Sign-up & beginner experience should be intuitive
CREATIVE APPROACH
Wireframing Process
When wireframing for Overleveled Entertainment, I took a more unique approach than I have in previous projects. In each stage, I put a minimal amount of information and then asked myself and others in the target audience what information would be most essential to include in the next set of wireframes.
This approach revealed a rather clear hierarchy of: Game Name > Price > Deals > Genre > Release Date > Other information.
Navigation & Developments
Throughout this process was also where the navigation and full extent of the product was decided. A profile, library, store, and settings each with their own separate navigations and pages within themselves was the finished solution.
It also developed the hierarchy, and overall layout of the interface. It was in this stage that the left side main navigation along with the secondary navigation across the top was developed, along with many of the stylistic and grid related aspects.
